Senioritis

Is it possible to get senioritis in college? To answer my own question, I think it’s definitely a possibility. However, I don’t think I have it or will even get it. There’s just too much work I have to get done. It just hit me the other day when I got my “Congratulations on realizing your dream!” letter from Enrollment Services reminding me that May 2nd is quickly approaching. I’m actually graduating and somehow made it through these four years.

Now back to the senioritis theory. According to our favorite online encyclopedia, senioritis is defined as “a tendency of seniors to skip class or otherwise slack off due to a desire to move on.” For all you seniors out there- we are in the homestretch! It’s so tempting to start slacking on schoolwork, but we can’t afford to do that. We’ve come so far, which leads us to one question. What’s the point of giving up now?

If you feel that you caught the senioritis disease, here are a few signs that you are currently suffering from it. They may be a little far fetched, but who knows? This may apply to you!
